Job Description: Finance Manager is Responsible for all finance related functions such as financial reporting, planning and forecasting, finance related KPIs, business strategy review, internal and external audit, SOX audit, budgeting, banking, Taxation etc. for the Country (Malaysia). Report directly to the A6 Financial Controller in Singapore and dotted line to Country Manager in Malaysia.
What you will do:

  1. Oversee and responsible for monthly financial closing.
  2. Preparation and monthly review of financial reports with all stakeholders.
  3. Responsible for all finance manufacturing activities such as cost accounting, inventory analysis, standard cost activities and production cost analysis etc.
  4. Monitor and drive performance for all finance related accounts such as receivables, payables, cash management, inventory management etc.
  5. Business partnering with all stakeholders to provide financial input/financial advice on all finance related decision. (CAPEX, product costing, profitability, strategic planning, manufacturing performance, transfer pricing, taxation issues etc.)
  6. Work together with HR in preparing employees payroll/journals.
  7. Work together with India Share Service for day-to-day finance tasks and month end reporting.
  8. SOX audit – compliance to quarterly Sox procedure and reviewing documents for SOX audit.
  9. Responsible for Internal audit – providing necessary documentation and liaising with internal auditors.
  10. Reponsible for external audit – providing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
  11. Responsible for all GST/tax reporting and compliance.
  12. Responsible for yearly budgets.
  13. Responsible for all finance projects such as system upgrades/new system implementation.
  14. Responsible for any other assignments as required by the Company.

We are looking for:

  1. Bachelor’s degrees in accounting, ACCA/CPA.
  2. Above 8 years’ experience in finance and familiar with MNC culture.
  3. Big 4 and manufacturing experience is preferred.
  4. Experience working with shared service is preferred.
