Your role and responsibilities
Acting as an internal tax advisor in the defined tax area and coordinates the resolution of tax issues Ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws and regulations Identifying tax planning opportunities and risks of non- compliance and proposes appropriate measures to mitigate tax risks Providing support and input to various projects and initiatives, including project risk reviews and contract structures Supporting in the development and implementation of relevant standards, processes, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of corporate tax matters in their area of responsibility Facilitating knowledge transfer, training activities and best practices sharing in the defined tax practice area
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor of commerce or MBA is preferred
Require 8 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing / services industries
Experience in indirect tax, commercial invoicing, AR, AP, AM, GST
Good knowledge in SAP FI, MM(Optional), FICO(Optional)
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
