Your role and responsibilities
You will be working as Quality Specialist and will be part of IEC LV Mo-tors Business Area for Motion Division based in Faridabad, Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager. You will be responsible for Developing and maintaining quality systems to support internal and external quality standards. Participate with internal teams in quality system implementation and serve as ongoing support for quality issues. Developing and preparing Quality plans for customers like NTPC , BHEL, EIL Developing & Preparing the Quality plans for in process & final inspection according to control plan for the various processes in shop floor. Defining processes and procedures in accordance with standard requirements and ABB Group procedures, directives, and policies on quality and issue SOP for the process. Performing periodic internal process audits to check the compliance of activities with requirements, procedures, and directives. Prepares non-conformity reports and investigates their resolution. Analyzing customer complaints and initiate Preventive Actions, align quality processes as per customer requirements through process audits & mistake proofing methods Responsible for submitting countermeasure reports to customer in case of line com-plaints or warranty failures in desired formats i.e. 5WHY, 8D, RCA (Root Cause Analysis Report). Collecting and maintaining data on key performance indicators i.e Cost of Poor Quality, process audits and customer complaints.
Qualifications for the role
Diploma or BTech in Electrical with ~ 5 years’ experience of Induction motor manufactur-ing or Rotating Machines
Experience in dealing customer requirements with QAP
Through knowledge in manufacturing and testing process.
Lean 6 sigma knowledge
Well convergent with Customer documentation.
Hands on experience on customer inspection
Certified Internal Auditor for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001.
