RESPONSIBILITIES
Design Management: – Coordinate the designs for projects from conceptual stage to detailed designs of Electrical HV, LV, ELV of the Airport Project. Electrical system sizing calculation (Transformer, DG, UPS, Cable, battery etc.). Power connectivity at voltage level of 220kV, 33kV, 11kV, including route survey to detail design till commissioning at load end. Review of all Electrical HV, MV, LV switchgear design including schematics/SLD, Load List. All Switchgear protection coordination with PMS. Finalization of Electrical fault level, load flow study, short circuit calculation and validation by ETAP software. Awareness of all Electrical statutory compliance for system design Electricity acts, Indian Electricity Rules, IS, IEC standards etc.
Procurement management: Coordinate and assist procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs of all Electrical system in tendering, evaluating new technologies at the time of tender, preparation of technical evaluation report , resolution of vendor technical query till finalization of Electrical Packages ordering.
Installation & Commissioning Responsible for development and implementation of detailed construction schedule (design development to handing over) as per agreed timelines.
Ensure periodic review and update in association with specialized contractor and other stake holders.
Execution of all works as per the quality &cost parameters specified in the contract
Testing Validation test results of installed systems Verification Interface integrations of all Sub Systems.
Handover of Projects. Validation and verification of final documents which are submitted by vendors/contractors. Completion of all snags / pending documentations Co-ordination with Operations and end users for the handover activities.
Key Performance Indicators
Ensure zero non-compliance to Statutory requirements, complying stake holder requirements and project objectives
In-time Procurement, finalization of contractor / Vendor. Project Quality, time and cost compliance
Completion within time, Quality compliance, Safety, Health and Environment compliance. Project Objectives & Stakeholder satisfaction.
Ensure Final testing of all installed systems.
Ensure smooth handover.
External – Roles you need to interact with outside the organization to enable success in your day-to-day work.
Interacts with client and his stake holders of the projects like BCAS, CISF, Immigration, and customs, Airlines etc. to understand the requirements and appraise them on the project objectives.
Interacts with consultants, vendors for smooth execution of the projects and understand the advances in technology and trends.
Internal – Roles you need to interact with inside the organization to enable success in your day-to-day work
Reporting Manager, team members and other cross functional teams and User Departments.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
(degree, training, or certification required)
B.E/B.Tech (Electrical)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required)
6 – 8 years of experience in Electrical System (HT/LT/ELV)
Airport experience is preferable.
