Role and responsibilities
>  Supplier Management – Supplier Selection, Evaluation, Assessment, Development

>  Stretegy for supplier performance improvement.

>  Supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP).

>  PPAPs approval with supplier for NPD as per IATF, VDA

>  Quality Plans for supplier PDA & Incoming at ARI

>  Assisting suppliers  for performance development as per CQI -9,11,12,15,23 requirements.

>  Implement best industrial practices at supplier to uplift supplier performance

>  Assist with first off sample approvals

>  Supplier system audits as per audit plan

>  Deliver training of quality awareness/quality tools

>  Contribute to continuous improvement activities

>  Facilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues

>  Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes in  current products (ECN) as per customer  specific requirements

>  Searching and assessing the best vendors to build contingency of supplier /inhouse/ future Lead supplier development activity for NPD as per APQP Planning.

>  Ensure Customer Specific requirements communication to supplier & Implement

>  Work closely with PDE to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements

>  Support Purchasing with the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing capabilities

>  Monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.

> Undertake continuous training and development of supplier.

>  Partners with management team to develop and administer various quality operating system plans and procedures.

>  Partners with manufacturing team to analyze, develop, and administer supplier product quality control procedures and processes.

>  Maintains compliance with customer requirements, ISO/TS16949 Technical Specification, and industry standards to ensure quality product.

>  Incharge of Incoming quality inspection management and supplier qulaity assurance management

>  Documentation control as per IATF 16949:2016.

>  Quality improvement of internal/ external supplier through various tools like process study, 7 QC tools, Kaizen, Poke-Yoke etc.

>   SAP QA key user, working on all transaction related to quality control

>  Coordinating with AR-Network Team & supplier in case of  Quality concern.

>  Define & implement strategy for DOL.

>  Strategy for COPQ reduction.
Education and experience
Education:

University degree (Degree in Mechanical/Polymer Engineering)
Professional Certifications:

Any one out of CQI-9 CQI-11, CQI-12, CQI-13 CQI-15, CQI-12 , CQI-23, IATF-16949:2016 .
