Role and Responsibilities:
As an Associate System Engineer at IBM, you will be actively involved in various aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and support. Your work will contribute to enabling IBM’s clients in their hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Analytical Problem-Solving & Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing failures, with guidance from the architect and technical leader.
- Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Be involved in every step of the development process, from design and development to deployment.
- Ensuring High-Performing Applications: Work with the latest technologies to create high-performing, scalable, and maintainable applications.

Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory)
Preferred Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher in relevant fields)
Required Technical & Professional Expertise:
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, Node.js
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Concepts
- Good Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills
- Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills (Written and Spoken)
Preferred Technical & Professional Experience:
- Fluent Communication Skills
- Ability to Solve Complex Problems
- Strong Logical & Analytical Skills
Eligibility Criteria:
- This is an Entry-Level Off-Campus Hiring Position
- Candidates must have completed their education and obtained their degree
- Course Completion Year: 2024 ONLY
- Degree Requirements: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/Dual Degree/MSc/MCA in CS/IT OR Semi IT/Circuit Branches with a minimum of 6.0 CGPA (or 60%)
- Calculation of qualifying marks: Total marks obtained divided by the sum total of maximum marks (all subjects included, including elective/optional subjects)
