You’ll be our: Process Engineer

 

You’ll be based at: IBC, Bangalore

 

You’ll be Aligned with: ME Assembly – Dev Team Lead

 

You’ll be a member of: Manufacturing Engineering- Assembly

 

What you’ll do at Ather:

Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed.
Creation of SOR(Statement of requirement) for New process design
Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow
Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with product, processes, procedures, and operations.
Understanding of product design concept and identify the DFA (Design for Assembly) related improvements during the design stage
Basic knowledge of Tolerance stackup analysis
Hands on experience in design CAD software(Solid Works/NX)
Process documentation(PFD,PFMEA,DFMEA & WIS) upkeep & updating at defined frequencies.
Knowledge in Process capability(Cp,Cpk) and Problem solving methods(DOE,RCA,RSA etc.,) and Tools
Work towards improving SPR by improving the processes on the assembly line itself.
Responsible for implementing PCR/ECR/ECN on the battery assembly line.
Improve the flow of products and materials by decreasing cycle times and eliminating bottlenecks.
Implement Ergonomics principles in the assembly line
Repeatability confirmation of all tooling, jigs and fixtures.
Coordinate with production planning, materials, production, Quality and program teams to implement ECNs/PCRs and regular operations.
Collaborate with the Manufacturing engineering team to implement the new product introduction into the vehicle assembly line.
Responsible for completing the Audit as Auditee and co-ordinate with Audit dept. to close the NC.
Coordinate with Quality dept.to resolve the bugs and increase the SPR.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Experience in working with different manufacturing processes and related automation.
Experience working on process setup for new product concept
Experience in Jig and Fixture development for product assembly.
Process knowledge on Resistance and Laser Welding, Two part component dispensing, Tightening and Machine tending etc.,
 

What you bring to Ather:

 

BE Mechanical /Mechatronics
5 to 7 yrs in Manufacturing Environment
