WHAT YOU’LL DO AT ATHER:

Ather’s products are a great concoction of multiple components from different sub-systems (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Software etc.) These need to integrate seamlessly and adapt to the vehicle requirement & deliver category leading performance in every aspect. Now that’s a lot of cross-functional team coordination to solve complex technical/Operational problems. That’s why you.

Manage the day-to-day execution of multiple scrum teams working on Chassis and Power-train / Performance projects.
Track their overall milestone deliverable. Activities include planning, monitoring & closure for sprint activities.
Identify gaps in the system and establish steps to mitigate them.
Report any impediments/red flags & take initiatives to work with CFT for planning/mitigating/solving impediments to achieve objective while adhering to strict deadlines/requirements on Quality, Cost, Delivery parameters.
The team’s efficiency depends on your ability to identify risks on a day to day basis, look for mitigation and be a bridge with the other functions on any impediments.

HERE’S WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Person –

Should have good knowledge of a general automotive product development lifecycle(s).
Should be detail oriented with proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Should be a self-starter & go-getter with the ability to multi-task and stay on top of a lot of things simultaneously
Should be savvy with relevant tools for project management like JIRA
Proactive, responsive and keen on process enhancement. Proven ability to optimize execution and increase predictability of the system
Possess excellent communications and have good command over verbal and written skills
Keep a clear focus on details – the devil’s in the details !
Your Knowledge of mechanical components would help understanding issues better. But more than that, your skills of facilitation and communication will be tested in this role. We’d expect you’ve had some stint of using Agile/Scrum to manage and maintain complex projects across multiple teams. Finally, a get it done attitude which helps deliver quality on time is a must in this role.

YOU BRING TO ATHER:

A total experience of 6-10 yrs
BE/B.Tech degree in engineering is a requirement with a recent background in program/project management that’d help understand best practices in Scrum/Agile. MBA and PMP/PGMP will be a definite plus but are not mandatory.
