What you’ll do at Ather:

Lead customer complaint resolution attributed to vehicle line by defining problems, prioritizing with CFT and driving resolution through structured 8D method
Conduct Product audit as per plan and drive resolution of issues identified within the swimlane
Participate in daily sustenance / KPI review meetings and ensure product quality requirements are addressed
Participate in Factory Trial Runs for modifications in product and processes in vehicle line assembly
Complete assessment for Change requests and ensure product quality requirements are addressed
Drive process robustness improvement projects for product quality assurance in vehicle line swimlane
Drive PFMEAs during new product and Process development, identify risks, recommend mitigation plan & validate effectiveness – bridge between Dev & Ops worlds
Participate in PPAP process and ensure all product quality requirements are met before PSW is signed off
Ensure failure/issues/lessons learned are forwarded effectively to the new product development
Participate actively in daily standups in vehicle line swimlane.
Ensure CFT is aligned for resolution of customer complaints
Work closely with the PEX team to ensure effective Line audits.
Closely work with the CFT team to ensure product and design quality is not compromised
Prepare for and attend scheduled functional reviews with detailed KPI status and prognosis.
Prompt escalations in case of delays or non-conformances.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Thorough understanding of 2 wheeler vehicle assembly processes, tools, fixtures, gauges and EoL
Hands on experience on conducting PFMEA sessions and drive action points to logical end
Working experience of product audit, process audit, line audits, PPAP and PSW closure
Thorough understanding of quality tools and methods (PPAP, 8D, SPC)
What you’ll bring to Ather:

Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from institute of repute
~ 3 years of experience in vehicle assembly QA in established 2W / 4W OEMs
