You’ll be our: Production Planner (Vehicle or Battery)

You’ll be based at: Ather Factory, Hosur -TN

You’ll be Aligned with: Lead, Production planning.

You’ll be A member of: Central planning.

What you’ll do at Ather:

· Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.

· Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.

· Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.

· Schedule shifts according to production or sales demand

· Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and Fulfil the Biz requirements.

· Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)

· Prepare and submit status and performance reports.

· Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, material & logistics.

· Work with the materials department in material planning and analysis to reduce inventory levels.

· Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement to ensure continuous operations.

· Monitor inventory status and generate inventory reports (FG & WIP_

· Coordinate with the central planning department & dispatch department to ensure smooth customer deliveries.

· Identify delivery exceptions and provide alternative solutions.

· Generate various reports from time to time for analysis.

· Suggest process improvements for inventory, manufacturing and production control systems.

Here’s what we are looking for:

· Proven experience as a production planner

· Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles

· Experience in SAP: Order management

· Working knowledge of MS Office / Google office and ERP systems

· Good at math and statistics

· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication abilities

You bring to Ather:

· B.E/ M. E in Industrial engineering, Automobile Engineering, Production Engineering or Mechanical engineering

· MBA in Operation Management or equivalent Certification from a Tier 1 institute would be preferable.

· 4-6 years of hands-on experience on Production and Inventory management

· Minimum of two references from not previous to the recent two organizations to authenticate/ validate the above sought credentials.
