Position Summary

An Integrations Developer is someone with a proven track record of delivering application modules with minimal to no supervision from senior engineering team members. Additionally, the individual is also responsible of providing guidance to associate/ entry level engineers in the team. This position works as a member of an Agile/scrum software development team focused exclusively on building and supporting Bain’s most strategic internal software systems. Team members work collaboratively to design, build and implement new features and functionality in their systems aimed at delivering the most value to Bain’s global users and supporting key business initiatives. Systems developed are primarily enterprise-scale browser based or mobile applications developed with current Microsoft development languages and technologies, with a global user base and integration points with one or more other internal Bain systems.

 

Responsibilities:

Serve as the subject matter expert on Workday integrations
Lead the research, design, development, testing, and delivery of new Workday Integrations
Configure and develop integrations using Workday Core Connectors, EIBs, Workday Studio, RaaS, Complex Calculated fields, Web Services, and XSLT
Create detailed integration specifications, field mappings, and designs to support the entire integration deployment life-cycle
Monitor scheduled integrations and develop automated management processes
Audit and/or automate audits for data consistency across internal systems
Research integration failures, perform root cause analyses, and report back to management and business leaders. Develop plans to mitigate and avoid future system issues
Safeguard system access and security, and support system audits
Support stability & scalability within the operational support team
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

 

Experience:

Bachelor’s or equivalent degree
3-7 years of experience
Experience configuring, implementing and troubleshooting Workday
Experience building Workday Integrations with Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors
Experience developing Workday custom reports and complex calculated fields
Experience in dealing with XML and JSON data structures
Familiar with XML Transformations, Namespaces, XSD
Experience in dealing with SOAP and REST API’s

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Expertise in Workday integrations and complex report configuration
Workday Core Connector, EIB, Workday Studio and XSLT experience
Ability to bridge the gap between technology and business needs
Proven strong logic, analytical, and technological skills
Strong communication skills and ability to influence others
Demonstrated experience with stakeholder collaboration and change management
High performance and standards as demonstrated by academic or previous job experience
