Objectives of the Position
Establishing, Preparing, Planning and Directing for the implementation and sustaining safety culture at site, emergency response Management systems and ensure the highest degree of Safety Excellence.
Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
Main Responsibilities
Functional and administrative responsibility of Safety management of all plants at Dahej site
Maintain system for continuous productivity improvement in the area of responsibility
Ensure safe execution of all work and compliance with EHS guideline & regulations.Responsible for budgeting for Safety management system:
Responsible for maintaining Safety culture at site
Functional and administrative responsibility to ensure site emergency response preparedness plan – prepare, plan and implementation of fire prevention, fire protection, crisis communication and emergency response programs, system and procedures. Education, training, dills. Emergency response control center – PPE management across site
Drive the professional competence of team and develop people on EHS aspect
Maintain good relation and information flow to internal & external customers for smooth functioning of the unit.
RCMS Responsibility
Asst. Manager — EHS is responsible to Head – EHS for the development and implementation of RCMS at Dahej site. The particular Responsibilities and Accountabilities are to..
. Support to develop and maintain Site RC Standards and Procedures in RCMS Manual, in line with BASF India RCMS Manual.
Support to take action according to the Emergency Plans
Support in Organizing and Management of .Fire Fighting Equipment in coordination with Utility
Personal Protective Equipment
Job Requirements minimum requirement to ca out the work
Education: B. E (Chemical) + Diploma in industrial safety
Working Experience: 8 – 10 years in Safety Management in reputed organization
Technical & Professional Knowledge: Responsible Care Management System, Safety Management, Workplace Safety, Near Miss, EHS law compliance, Incident Investigation
