Objective of the Position

Drive Lean projects to continuously optimize supply chain management process and solutions.
Continuously develop cost and efficiency improvement initiatives in supply chain with solid cost savings achievement
Provide professional SCM knowledge and best practice to the organization and clients .
Main Task:

General:

Act as focal point to lead and provide professional advice for continuous improvement in supply chain and logistics processes in terms of cost, service, and capital.
Lead the implementation of corporate and BU projects and liaise with central project teams to reflect business requirements and to generate business value .
Proactive interaction with customers and other functions to  resolve operations issues and process integration.
Search for innovative supply chain concepts and best practices. Lead to process changes and provide necessary training.
Perform data analysis to support process evaluation and decision in alignment with business needs, regulatory rules, process capabilities, and costs.
Tap Digitalization opportunities in supply chain arena  to migrate from Person driven to Process driven approach.
Tactical: 

Drive continuous improvement of SCM process to ensure high process and planning quality with optimized cost.
Roll out planning excellence project to build planning improvement roadmap and help to improve Demand Planner / Supply Planner skills.
Facilitate structured S&OP process and align the same with regional process.
To ensure smooth implementation of all system related projects (APO, BRM etc.) in time
Initiate and lead Cross functional projects with  Production , GB and GP
Set up  Dashboards to  monitor and manage SC performance via KPIs, benchmarks, defined service levels.
Carry out audits of  end-to-end supply chain processes
Assess potential risk across SCM processes and support development of Risk Mitigation plan.
Set up projects to check feasibility of effective and efficient best cost  logistics/ Warehousing / packaging solutions .
Drive Order to Cash process simplification.
Strategic:

Initiate and implement customer centric activities to enable and support the implementation of Business strategies and complexities reduction.
Support SCM Head to develop and align sub regional supply chain strategy with the regional SCM strategy.
Build and manage a strong network of relationships with key stakeholders across the business and BASF.
Drive Digitalization initiatives to make SC processes more efficient and agile.
Build future ready SC processes keeping in mind business needs and future growth.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Experience: Min 5 years of  experience in Core  areas( Planning , CS , Production , Logistics)
Qualification: MBA – Operations
