Candidate must be –

Diploma – Mechanical Engineering from reputed Polytechnic

– 5 to 7 years of experience in plant/machines construction

– Good command of written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage.

– Able to follow verbal and written work instructions and work through problems should they arise.

– Willingness to travel abroad.

– Knowledge and experience in welding and nondestructive testing methods.

– Good knowledge in hydraulics and pneumatics

– Experience in pipeline construction

– Assembly and adjustment of butterfly valves, valves, compensators, sensors and actors

– Must have the ability to complete tube bending and forming from schematic diagrams.

– Must have the ability to set-up and use basic hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling.

– Must have the ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, schematics / P&I diagrams and technical documentation (pipework, mechanical, electrical and gas flow)

– A background in electrical from the industrial equipment and/or instrumentation field is preferred.

– To be self-motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

– Assertiveness Ability to work under pressure and think outside the box.

– A team player who has the ability to work well with others in a fast paced, changing manufacturing environment.

 

Expected Job responsibilities –

– Candidate must be responsible for the execution of refurbishment of calibration rigs worldwide.

– Candidate must be in close cooperation with the maintenance electricians.

– Candidate must be assembling mechanical components in calibration rigs and check them for function and exact fit

– This position requires the knowledge of and application of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in mechanical assembly, sample system piping and tubing.

– Setting up and adjusting rigs and measuring equipment – Alignment of high-precision calibration scales

– Repair and maintenance of machines – Welding of pipe sections

– Must be able to adhere to a firm work schedule, with the ability to work overtime as necessary
