Role Purpose:

Collects, standardizes, validates and maintaining the data in presentable format in regular intervals as per the management guidelines and requirement

 

Supports the development of PowerBI and associated tools for MIS.

 

Main Accountabilities:

Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
Implement BI reports based on the above requirements.
Analyze existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
Work with data warehouse architects, data scientists, and data collection application engineers. Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.

Skills:

Adept at the use of PowerBI Tools
Understanding data modelling & data schemas
Understanding database operations and optimization for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, EPICOR, Atlas, Aurora etc.
Development of Snowflake and tools.
Data analysis (Inventory Turns, deep dives, etc.).
Understanding data and query optimization, query profiling, and query performance monitoring tools and techniques.
Creating and maintaining business requirements and other technical documentation.
Data maintenance and validation
Requirement:

Bachelor/Master of Science with IT focus or equivalent education with 7-8 years of relevant experience
Business and commercial understanding.
The role requires high level of communication skills, in contacts with prime stakeholders, as well as internally with the tool developers in IT department
Intense knowledge and experience of IT Infrastructure / Applications / Systems.
Good knowledge of industrial best practices.

At least 7-8 years’ experience in similar roles
