You will be part of the Global Procurement Shared Services Team, who ensures purchasing the right goods in right time from the right vendors with the full obligation of the local and country’s law, policies and abiding the best practices with terms and conditions,, saves money by actively working to improve cost reduction activities, and reduces the risks associated with delays in the supply chain and dedicated to implementing sustainable solutions for our customers. By joining this team, you will have the chance to work in an international environment involving different cultures and different challenges.

Buying is a concept in procurement and project management for securing the quality and timely delivery of goods and components in a right price. The procurement department controls the purchasing and manufacturing activities at the supplier’s end concerning value, quality, packing, conformity with standards and set timelines

Your responsibilities
Responsibilities and duties includes:
. Examine and analyze departmental Purchase Requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information.
· Understanding Engineering Drawings & Technical Specifications
· Sending inquires to Global Vendors and follow-up to receive offers on time.
· Validating Supplier quotes in line with Purchase Requisition/Requirement
· Commercial and Technical knowledge in Vendor offer evaluations.
· Effective Negotiation, Finalization and cost optimization.
· Vendor selection and order placement through Oracle/EPICOR/ATLAS.
· Expedite and get order acknowledgement & goods on time from vendors.
· Effective planning and execution of the customer order within budget cost and within Customer P.O. delivery date.
· Effective handling of customer complaints if any, after dispatch/Installation.
· Meet Team and Individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
What you bring
A relevant bachelors level qualification, ideally an engineering degree.
At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in Procurement / Global Purchase.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and credibility both internally and with external clients with strong customer service skills.
Demonstrated business acumen to develop realistic business plans with stretch targets and the clear plan to reach those targets.
Demonstrated knowledge of handling suppliers and how to improve them in terms of right pricing, faster delivery, Quality standards. (Improving SIFOT, DIFOT)
Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects.
Computer experience using standard MS Office suite of programs is required
Demonstrated ability to deliver in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in order to work with customers, External, Internal stake holders and other personnel on a daily basis
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organization, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning and housekeeping standards.
Experience in dealing with international counterparts will be added advantages
Knowledge of any foreign language will be added advantage
Works towards building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Hands-on experience with ERP-systems
