Department

You will be part of The Procurement Strategy & Development team, it is part of Service Procurement. Together, we ensure that our aftermarket customers are served on time, in budget and always at the expected quality level. We are a major driver of the company’s growth and profitability targets being accountable for the major portion of our COGS. The global Procurement Strategy & Development team has the overall strategic responsibility for the categories and builds the commercial fundament. We are fully dedicated to the FLSmidth Service business and live company’s values and sustainability goals every day.

 

Role

Reporting to the Head of Procurement & Strategy Development in Mining Service Procurement Organization, as a Supplier Management Specialist, you will be responsible to support the development of our Supplier Management Program. The focus of this role will be on the development Supply Chain Finance Program as well as to support our Supplier Relationship Manager Program.

Your responsibilities

Supply Chain Finance-program:

Main contact person for Service Business Line, suppliers and the bank regarding SCF.
Coordinate Onboarding & Extension request between Procurement, MDM & Bank
Keeping internal and external stakeholders informed about relevant changes in the SCF-program.
Investigation of supplier base for SCF-potential
Maintenance of SCF dashboards
Monitoring of SCF missed opportunities on regular basis.
Internal training lessons
Supplier Relationship Manager-program

Main contact person for Service Business Line regarding SRM program.
Ownership and maintenance of the Supplier Rating Tool and SRM dashboards (e.g. mySupplier)
Responsibility for Supplier Financial Stability score
Providing Supplier Scorecards on a regular basis
Checking supplier base for potential changes of supplier status
Internal training lessons
What you bring

Knowledge acquired about supplier base & management & procurement.
Well-developed communication skills and knowledge of SCF program
Knowledge of FLSmidth’s business and how Business Lines integrate their operations.
Experience in supply chain development with skills in continued improvement and operational excellence.
Excellent commercial and financial understanding
Several Years of experience in a Supplier Management / Purchasing
Project management experience
Ability to handle domestic & international customer.
Good fluent communication skill in English.
Education Qualification

Bachelor’s degree from a reputed University.

6+ years of relevant experience
