Title: GenAI – Lead Engineer
Reports to: Cloud Services CoE leader
Description:
As part of our digital transformation at one of the world’s leading automotive suppliers, we are looking for a collaborator who will play a crucial role in identifying and proposing cutting-edge solutions so to drive our business transformation in the sphere of Generative AI. As the ideal candidate, you will work as a member of the Collaborative & Cloud Services Department and particularly in the Cloud Services Center of Excellence.You already possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and project management skills.
Functional Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility studies and assess the applicability of generative AI techniques to specific business problems.
Engage with line-of-business users to understand their needs, pain points, and use cases.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
Lead and contribute to GenAI projects for internal customers.
Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Technical Responsibilities:
Leverage expertise in GenAI concepts, including RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) and Models fine-tuning techniques.
Understand the concepts of major AI models such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, Mistral AI (not exhaustive)
Collaborate with cross-functional IT technical teams, including architecture, GenAI developers, and Cloud engineers.
Ensure the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of generative AI solutions.
Demonstrate basic knowledge of IT security principles.
Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field and incorporate best practices into projects
Qualifications:
Information technologies Master’s degree
Proven experience in designing and implementing generative AI models.
Strong understanding of machine learning principles and deep learning frameworks
Familiarity with applications development concepts
Proficiency in Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools
Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially Azure) and AI services
Analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex processes into functional requirements
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a passion for cutting-edge AI technologies.
Excellent communication skills in English (both oral and written)
Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a worldwide organization and willingness to travel within our sites
