Job Title:- Assistant Manager – EHS
Location:– Bangalore
Job Summary:
To help EHS Head in implementing the EHS programs across Kennametal India Limited.
Key Job Responsibility:
Leads and supports implementation of corporate EHS systems and standards at the location with direction of EHS leadership.
Leads and supports management of applicable environmental programs (air, water, waste, etc.) by collecting data and helping to assure reports, inspections and samples are completed timely.
Coordinates with and supports EHS leadership with implementing critical EHS programs at the location. (lockout, mobile equipment, electrical fall prevention, etc.)
Assists with development of and drives implementation and execution of injury prevention plans.
Leads and supports location fatality and serious injury prevention team and developing action plans to eliminate risks.
Develops and conducts EHS training to ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
Leads and supports incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Coaches and mentors’ frontline supervisors on executing their EHS roles and responsibilities.
Ability to complete other duties as assigned by EHS leadership.
Education & Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) with RLI / CLI) or MTech – Industrial Safety
8-10 Year of overall experience in EHS.
