What You Will Do

Product Design:

• Project Definition: Product scope, voice of customer, concept generation

• Predictive Engineering: Executes DFMEA, Tolerance Analysis.

• Detailed Design: Creates product models & drawings using GD&T methodology, plastic and sheet-metal part design

Design Verification, Product Validation:

• Validation Plan: Develop test plans (DVP&Rs) to validate product performance and analyze test results using statistical methods

• Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis utilizing structured problem-solving methods(8D)

 

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Work Experience: 5-9 years product design experience

 

What Will Put You Ahead

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent science degree

Preferred: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent science degree

Skills: New product design process, Concept generation, DFMEA, GD&T, Tolerance analysis, DVPR, Plastic parts, Manufacturability, Problem solving.
