Role and Responsibilities:

Application of company standards / methods / processes and implication of MAHLE global machining commodity strategies

Responsible for the achievement of Purchasing TARGET (Q, C & D)

Contacting suppliers for getting quotation & primary negotiations

Generate price comparisons with the goal to optimize the supply situation, initiate e.g. VA/VE activities, validations, etc

Co-ordination with Engineering/quality/Logistics for TRM & CRM

Purchase Order- eRO’s / Banf’s & Scheduling Agreement creation -MMC,GTA

Price updation in SAP

Carry Over Project follow-up’s, negotiation & Feedback.

Shortage management – handling supply issues from Suppliers

Reporting savings measures and NID’s in JIRA

Primary contact with suppliers for any change Managements, Incoterms, any price discrepancies issues , Support to plant logistics for any delivery problems with suppliers

Timely delivery of tasks per set guidelines

Doing self-quality check

Notifying internal, external defects and working per corrective actions

Maintaining task documentation as per guideline

Daily timesheet recording

Understand and utilize PU/LOG tools and systems for executing tasks

Good Communication skills – Written and Verbal English

Intercultural Awareness for USA & Germany

IATF 16949 – Awareness

Time management, Conflict management, Presentation skills

Participate in team and department meetings.

Maintain 5S of own area

 

Qualification:

Bachelor’s in engineering (Mechanical, Production, Automobile, Metallurgy etc.
