JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY):

The Data Steward/Analyst ensures execution of processes based on the defined standards & guidelines (create, update, archive) using MDG, APM, S/4 etc. S/He also have a focus on data validation and quality management. Provides performance reports on e.g., adherence to standards and improvement recommendations. Provides user/admin support and guidance. Training to key and end-users.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Administer and manage master data (Materials, Customers, Suppliers) within the erp system related to the internal governance rules and processes
Maintains master data (creation, updates, and deletion), enforces integrity during initial set-up and reviews procedures and process flow to allow for synchronization of data between systems
Ensure the quality of data and work together with the stakeholders responsible for the data input to ensure we can correctly measure and track all necessary information
Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality through error detection, correction, process control, and improvement, or process design strategies
Enforces data governance rules to maintain data integrity and quality
Develops, supports and drives improvement in master data process to support change management, launch of new products and changes to existing products
Write, revise and verify standard operating procedures and other documentation
Participates in continuous improvement activities to drive increased productivity across data management teams (process flows, automation activities etc.)
Training end-users on master data processes
Troubleshoot MDG workflow/process related technical or functional issues
Support business users with Master data reportages
WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:

Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in a similar position within an international, manufacturing environment
Previous experience in master data management using MDG, S/4 HANA or SAP is a must have.
Knowledge of Engineering change management processes (ECI/ECR/ECO/MCO) using APM system is an added advantage
