Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for development of MBD Tools platform used for Powertrain Software development as per the end-user requirements across V-cycle
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop or update the tools as per Model Based Design Guidelines defined by OEM.
Should handle the activities independently with Minimal or no support. Should also be part of peer-reviews and validation.
Adherence to Process & Standards.Often demonstrate autonomous delivery for project QCD.
Create Requirement document, Validation report and User Manual for all the Tools.
Analyse and resolve K3/K4 issues <1 weeks of time
Propose improvement ideas to improve QCT
Have passion to explore latest technology in software development
MBD :
Responsibilities :
Understand model architecture guidelines and develop tools using M-scripting, Python, VBA Other Preferred Languages.
Streamline the requirements and inputs with customer
Resolve the issue raised, do impact analysis and improve the tool to prevent the repetition of the issue in the future.
Focus on improvement ideas in the assigned technical area.

Tools Skills :
• Configuration Tools: SVN, Dimension, Git
• Tools: MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow
• Programming/Scripting: C, M-Scripts, Python
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
M.E./ M.Tech in Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering/VLSI/Embedded
B.E./ B.Tech. in Automobile Engineering/ECE/CS/EEE with good academic standing
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
1 to 3 years of experience in MATLAB Model Based Design using Simulink and State flow (Preferably Automotive/Equivalent)
Working knowledge in MATLAB scripting, Python and VB macros. Experience in other scripting language and automation tools is added advantage.

Technical passion for the knowledge in the domain

Ability to work with deadlines & with less supervision.
