¢ Monitor the in-process quality in respective section by conducting periodic product and process audits
¢ Prepare and Conduct patrol inspection as per schedule & review check sheets filled by inspectors and ensure adherence to the same by the team.
¢ Review patrol inspection reports and take necessary actions (if any)
¢ check and prepare dimensional report / PQCS/ critical parameters etc. periodically and ensure adherence to the same.
¢ Check quality of the components- inline and off line and ensure that all components that move to next process are as per the required dimensional parameters
¢ Analyze data and try to find the root cause of the defect by conducting Why Why analysis, Root Cause Analysis etc.
¢ Supervise tool & die changeovers, and prepare loading/unloading report
¢ Ensure that all output classified as Rework is sent back to the production team immediately
¢ Coordinate with concerned departments for timely closure of CAPA points
¢ Follow up for implementation of quality related improvement projects at the plant including customer projects as well as internal improvement initiatives
¢ Conduct customer rejection (Line Rejection, BOP, semi finished parts) analysis and prepare CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action)
¢ Ensure that any change in the process is documented and the same is recorded and circulated to everyone
¢ Follow up for implementation of quality related improvement projects at the plant including customer projects as well as internal improvement initiatives
¢ Ensure that all quality related compliances and standards for the plant are met
¢Procedure formulation for stage and final quality inspection to reduce rejection / rework
¢Knowledge of Quality Control Practices
¢Knowledge of Sampling plans and techniques.
¢ Quality assurance practices and procedures.
¢ Support during Quality Audits for the plant by coordinating with all departments and ensuring effective implementation of the same
¢ Knowledge and skills of conducting Quality process audit
B.E Mechanical with Minimum 5 years Experience
