Responsible for CNC Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance
¢Ensure adherence to approved departmental maintenance budget
¢Monitor preventive maintenance team to ensure completion of activities as per schedule
¢Interact with the Production teams to understand and address their specific requirements/ issues
¢Support Section Head in preparation of preventive maintenance schedule for the designated Section, including specification of spares/ consumables requirement for the same
¢Guide operators on a day to day basis in execution of preventive maintenance activities
¢Review check-sheets for preventive maintenance as filled by Operators and direct corrective action, if required
¢Provide timely and comprehensive feedback on maintenance issues to superiors and recommend counter-measures to manage the same.
¢Effectively liaise with PE and other internal departments for installation/ inspection of new machinery in designated Section
¢Monitor the work environment in the designated line to safeguard against potential safety hazards
¢Recommend changes to production engineering department for changes in specifications of machine for preventive maintenance
¢Monitor spares consumption on a daily basis and ensure adequate inventory levels of spare parts for critical machines; Issue materials from Stores as per requirement, Report any short falls to Stores
¢Ensure usage of SAP modules in maintenance for effective recording and monitoring of maintenance data
¢Ensure proper documentation of all preventive maintenance activities, including details of spares consumption, for future reference
¢ Conduct on the job trainings for operators for enhancing technical know-how of machines, operations and systems
¢ Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process
Undergo trainings to update skills for enhancing productivity
B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering
2~5 years of industry experience in plant maintenance and related areas
Knowledge of preventive & breakdown maintenance processes
Exposure to systems and processes in the automobile sector
Must be conversant with technical specifications of various machines
Well acquainted with safety norms
