Job Description
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Project Management:
Lead projects to enhance and upgrade lab facilities.
Standardize lab architecture following approved designs.
Establish infrastructure and computing requirements for various projects.
Install and manage hardware within the lab environment.
Ensure secure and efficient network connections within the lab and organization.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Manage cloud subscriptions and resource groups.
Implement and manage cloud deployments, including readiness of compute templates.
Document installation procedures and best practices for Cloud solutions.
Respond to assigned issues, implement workarounds, and communicate with all stakeholders.
Implement cost reduction efforts and optimize resource costs.
On-Premises Infrastructure Management:
Evaluate and optimize network infrastructure and systems.
Develop and deploy customized solutions for system integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve DC/environment issues.
Provide technical support and document processes.
Understanding of AD, DC, DNS, DHCP, IPv4/v6.
Maintain servers (VMware & Hyper-V), including firmware upgrades and configuration.
This role will require a deep understanding of VMware, Hyper-V, Azure IAAs, networking, and system administration.
