Job Description

Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems in accordance with IATF 16949 standards
Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish quality goals and metrics, and monitor performance against targets
Investigate and resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures
Participate in new product development projects to ensure quality requirements are met from design to production
Support supplier quality management activities, including supplier audits, qualifications, and performance monitoring
Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize processes
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality management and automotive standards

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
6+ years of experience in quality engineering roles, preferably in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 standards and quality management systems
Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA
Proficiency in problem-solving techniques such as root cause analysis and statistical analysis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Certification in quality management is plus
