The Data, Applied AI, and Analytics (DACI) group at Lowe’s India plays a crucial role in enabling strategic decision-making and enhancing business performance. The team is responsible for data management, governance, insights generation, and AI-driven solutions for key functions such as Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing, Stores, and Supply Chain.

Role: Software Engineer
As a Software Engineer at Lowe’s India, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and deploying high-impact software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, and engineers, to create world-class digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and modify complex integrated software applications.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate applications with existing systems, APIs, and third-party services.
- Identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Create and maintain documentation for code, architecture, and system processes.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high standards of quality and security.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in software development, primarily backend.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3-4 years of IT experience in developing and implementing business systems.
Skills Required:
Primary Skills (Must-Have):
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of modern application architectures such as Microservices.
- Strong database expertise in SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, BigQuery, GCS, and Airflow.
