What You’ll Do
As a Software Engineer at Kenvue, you will:
- Work closely with the Observability Engineering team to develop an in-house application consolidating all Observability and Error Budget information.
- Build and maintain scalable back-end solutions for data ingestion, indexing, storage, and retrieval.
- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring seamless application performance.
- Stay updated with emerging software development trends and implement them for better efficiency.
- Work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
What We Are Looking For
If you are someone with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation, we encourage you to apply. Below are the key qualifications and skills we seek:
Technical Skills:
- 1 – 3 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with frameworks like React, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of backend languages, including Python and Node Express.
- Basic understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, including Jenkins (CI/CD), GitHub, and repository management.
- Experience working with public cloud infrastructures (Azure/AWS/GCP) is a plus.
- Strong grasp of software development lifecycles and best coding practices.
Soft Skills:
- A problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovation.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain development processes.
