Software Engineer Java

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer – Java, you will collaborate with an outstanding development team to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications. You will play a key role in the software development lifecycle, system validation, and testing methodologies, ensuring seamless performance and top-notch user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and validate software systems using Java, Spring Boot, and other modern technologies.
Oversee the creation of technical documentation.
Work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Manage the entire software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
Monitor and optimize system performance.
Apply best practices and standard operating procedures to software development.
Innovate and create solutions tailored to Siemens’ technical requirements.
Test new software, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 1 to 5 years in software development or engineering.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Python, Shell Programming.
- Experience in Monolith and Microservices Architecture.
- Proficiency in development tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, VS Code.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software lifecycle management.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Cloud Foundry (preferred).
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently.
- Team collaboration and leadership abilities.
