Purpose
Manage and Assist operators in setting workpieces in cylindrical grinding machine with minimum holding diameters (Cylindrical Mold elements, Precision pins) and lengthy jobs with fool proof workpiece and tool holding and supporting to eliminate runouts and deflection
Key Responsibility
Hands on Experience in CNC Machine operation (3, 4, 5 axis)- VMC- FANUC / Siemens / Heidenhain control, Spark EDM, Wire EDM, EDM Drill, CNC surface and Cylindrical Grinding machines.
Work closely with Tool room Manufacturing Engineering department to understand the Job finish requirements as per the drawings.
Manage CNC Machine operators for better results -VMC, Spark EDM, Wire EDM, Drill EDM, CNC cylindrical and Surface grinding machines.
Manage and assist in translating work instructions to operators into computer commands (VMC-Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain), Spark EDM, EDM Wire Cut, CNC grinding for the machines to perform correct function for standard and nonstandard jobs.
Take primary responsibility and ownership for achieving productivity, Quality, cost and delivery in CNC Machine operations.
Train operators on CNC codes, Macros and command instructions
Manage and Assist operators in doing grinding wheel dressing/Balancing, calibration for form grinding operations in CNC machines.
Manage and Assist operators in setting workpieces in cylindrical grinding machine with minimum holding diameters (Cylindrical Mold elements, Precision pins) and lengthy jobs with fool proof workpiece and tool holding and supporting to eliminate runouts and deflection.

Qualification
Degree in Mechanical Engg., / Diploma in Mechanical engineering / Production / Tool and Die making / NTTF / CITD / CIPET / GTTC
