Job title: Production Line Leader

 

Job function and sub function: Production /CTOH

Preparing work schedules and assigning workers production line tasks. Evaluating incoming orders and setting up the production line accordingly. Optimizing production line efficiency by monitoring productivity and quality. Identifying and resolving production line problems in a timely manner
Position summary:

We will look to you to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Team size (Direct and total):  12

 

Works closely with: All respective Department

 

Location: New CTOH Plant Chakan

 

Key responsibilities:

Managing production assembly lines
Assisting their teams to complete orders
Preparing reports- Production Report, Inspection Reports, sop   check sheet
Maintain records and documentation of the entire production process.
Maintaining a safe work environment by ensuring employees follow safety regulations and procedures
Ensuring that production goals are met by monitoring equipment performance and employee output
Supervising a team of workers to ensure they are performing their duties efficiently
Ensuring that all materials are available for production through inventory management of raw materials and finished goods
Coordinate with other departments to determine the demand for the product.
Manage the production process and make sure the final product meets quality standards
Ensure the final product is according to customer’s requirements.
Coordinate production workflow for the products with Production Manager and higher management

Ideal candidate experience:

4 to 5y ears   experience  in Robotic  welding in a reputed manufacturing company.
Skills and capabilities (leadership and/or functional):

At least five years’ production line experience in a Robotic Welding( ABB,Moto-Man)
Experience in a supervisory role preferred
Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards
In-depth knowledge of industry regulations
Manufacturing expertise
Interpersonal communication
Leadership
Ability to facilitate communication between managers, supervisors and production team members
Knowledge of Welding Robot is a must.
Knowledge of MS Office and ERP SAP systems is a must.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques
Strong organizational skills.
Outstanding problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills.
Should demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities.
Qualifications/ certifications:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical.
