Job Description
Quality Control & Improvement:
§ Ensure availability of measuring instruments
§ Preparing & implementing SOPs for maintaining quality of inward, in process & final packaging.
§ Checking & identifying rusty parts while in-process inspection
§ Rework of rusty parts for final dispatch.
Quality Assurance:
§ Preparing part wise/product wise Quality Assurance checklist.
§ Sample inspection of inward quality assurance.
§ Updating rejection in system.
Customer Complaint Management:
§ Attending customer compliant and identifying the scope of complaint territory wise, customer wise.
§ Testing of available FG stock to identify root cause and taking necessary corrective and preventive actions.
§ Coordinate with plant/vendor & development to avoid recurrence of the same issue
Vendor PPM:
§ Calculating vendor PPM on the basis of rejection
§ Visiting vendor to resolve repetitive and major rejection issues
Warehouse Rejection:
§ Identifying the system and locations of rejected parts/products
§ Checking possibility of inhouse rework
§ Dispatching non reworkable parts to vendor
Product catalogues:
§ Preparing inputs for printing product catalogues, price list, leaflets.
§ Ensure on time availability of catalogues
§ Handing over the same to sales support department
MIS & Reports:
§ Inspection reports & MIS
§ Vendor PPM Report
Vendor inspection Audit:
§ Conducting vendor audit as per vendor audit check sheet
§ Preparing audit report and follow-up for closing NC
Maintaining Quality Document:
Vendor Audit Reports, instrument calibration, Inward check sheets, in process inspection mis.
