Job Description
Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Participate in the plant planning process and provide accurate plant financial information to the plant management team to enable decision making and achievement of plant’s financial objective.
• Based on customer indent for next month demand, prepare forecast/monthly rolling plan, prepare forecast of income statement and balance sheet items along with Plant Head for the assigned plant.
• Undertake detailed item by item analysis and assess impact of variance on overall budget and expenses and for difference in volume projections evaluate impact on cost and budget.
• Monitor budget utilization and check expenses PO to ensure adherence to with laid down budget, else explore justification for expenses.
• For annual budgeting at given volume, prepare and consolidate budget across variable and fixed heads and as per inputs from various stake holder.
• New Project DC Management spending vs Recovery on all new ECN and repairs.
Cash Flow Management
• At month end prepare cash flow statements for the plant based on actual current month cash flow.
• Doing Capitalization on time, CWIP Clearance.
• Handing Bank Related work.
• Prepare forecasted cash flow statement for the next month, Supplementary Working.
• Capex Management, prepare capex forecast at the beginning of the year incorporating the requirements of planned project.
• Vendor Payment on time as per PO, Coordination with CAP Team.
Internal Audits
• Coordinate with internal Audit team to identify the risk and create risk management framework.
• Statutory payments and Compliances.
• Sales / Excise / Service Tax Audit and Assessment/ GST Return Inputs / External Audits.
• Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to establish strong internal control and enhance efficiency.

Cost Control
• Apply cost accounting/management principles for product costing, quotations and new product in compliance with BU Plant costing cell.
• Yearly / Quarterly – External Inventory coordination’s.
• Verification of Daily Perpetual Inventory and submission to Plant Head.
• Generate and share ideas on cost control measures and initiatives at the plant such as reduction of shift.
• Discuss and recommend Transfer pricing system and evaluate effect of transfer prices.
• CI Cost saving verification on user’s claim and data.
• Product Cost Analysis.
• Customer revised PO vs SCM Revision to Suppliers (B2B) Monitoring and input to Plant Head and BD.
• Discount / Delta / Saving Tracking through Suppliers / SCM / Customer / BD.
Team Development
• Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent across positions withing the team.
• Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of team.
Business Related other Activities.
• Business Case / IRR Calculations for Every Capex more than 10 Lacs.
• Subsidy Inputs to Consultant.
• Debit / Credit note working.
• TT Payment follow ups / Import – Export Payment Cycle / US$ Fluctuations Forex gain / Less.
• TDS of Supplier and Customer maintenance
• Write off Committee Approval
• Various MIS Related Excel /PPT/ Analysis working.
