Digital Solutions is the business area responsible for all IT within Vestas Wind Systems A/S. Digital Solutions covers everything from strategic roadmaps, business engagement and requirements gathering to project implementation, infrastructure operations, service integration and end user support. Digital Technology Solutions is responsible for developing and delivering digital products and platforms to connect Vestas across enterprise, drive scalability, agility, and efficiency through an integrated architecture to ensure seamless digital employee experience at Vestas. Digital Expert services supports the organization with the purpose of enabling and harvesting the benefits from industry standard technology, new thoughts, and best practices. Delivery & Supplier management (D&SM) department is responsible for advising, consultation and orchestrating across DTS for all suppliers to ensure that agreed services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in accordance with the needs of the organization and align with its strategic strategy and cost matrix. Necessary skills & resources, suppliers’ performance, benchmarking, governance, and building relations are under D&SM scope to get maximum outcome from the supplier´s relations and agreements.

 

 

Responsibilities

Supplier evaluation, performance optimization and reporting
Close collaboration across multiple products/platform and product/platform owners
Supporting Technical area lead/Chapter Lead, making sure that deliverables are delivered with quality as per the demand
Collaborating with procurement team in all contractual matters from Delivery perspective
Maintaining the relation with outsourcing partners as a single point of contact – also for escalations
Set up supplier governance and effective participation in governance and escalation meetings
Securing right skills and resources from the supplier
Managing internal and external stakeholders in relation to the deliveries from the outsourcing partners
Monitor the outsourcing partners performance on contractual SLA’s and KPI’s to identify problems and take appropriate action to correct failed activities, functions, and processes
Aligning on various initiatives towards outsourcing partners
Enhance processes and governance structures in the vendor setup to Manage the expansion of the cooperation and business with the relevant stakeholder
Working together with internal application team (For Eg SAP team) to make sure future technology advancements is in line.
Facilitate performance management and reporting to tactical and strategic fora’s
Facilitate coordination of cross vendor issues and initiatives
Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have Prerequisite Experience with service delivery and outsourcing governance and business models
Min. 7+ years of experience from similar position(s)
Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or similar Competencies
SAP understanding would be preferred and exposure in SAP / Salesforce / Microsoft technologies / ServiceNow, etc
Deep understanding of application development and support processes
Certification in ITIL is advantageous
Understanding of processes like Incident, Request, Problem, Test & Release, Disaster management is an added advantage
